Share your care

Why CheerUp ?

CheerUp Foundation is NOT an NGO, NOT a charitable trust…one of the aims of this foundation is to Cheer up, to spread smile on someone’s face. This is something that each of us can do and it is free of cost !

The best feeling is when you cheer someone up….So many people in this world are suffering and most of them of loneliness.

Many think “what can we do, give to others ? we have no time, no enough money, we can’t donate etc.”  Yes there is something you can give your love, you can share your care, you can cheer someone up, you can reduce someone’s loneliness with your company, you can encourage someone, you can give your positive energy … and  all this, is invaluable, is priceless, more precious than anything. When we really want to do something for someone, when we really want to give something to someone we can : ” Where there is a will there is a way”

Who ?

My name is Madhu. I am working full time for one reputed architect company in Brussels. Apart from my professional life, I am involved in social work.

My cousin Harry has encouraged me in making this website. I am and will be always very grateful to him, to Gunjan and all my family from Australia, USA and Europe and of course friends to support all my social work, always encouraging me.

My wish is just that through this website people start or continue to have compassion for others.

On this site, you could have a look to all my social projects. There is one common point to all of them: Cheering someone up, bringing a smile on someone’s face. That’s the reason why I couldn’t find a better name to give to all my projects: CheerUp Foundation.

We might not be able to change someone’s destiny but you can for sure at least make the other forget for a while his/her problems, to reduce his/her pains or to participate with your presence to his difficult moments…

See you can do so much ! It is free for you and priceless for the other…

My wish is to be useful to as much people as I can. I do so in four ways:

  1. Funding myself ( with my savings ) my social projects called “CheerUp’s Projects”
  2. Submitting files to Volont’R to fund projects of several NGO’s, called “Volont’R  Projects”
  3. Working as volunteer in different institutions like old age homes, hospitals through a Belgian association       called Volont’R where am the boardmember since 2012. For the moment, am volunteer in Palliative Care unit in a hospital in Brussels
  4. Supporting projects of http://amma.org/global-charities

Kind regards,

Madhu
